What are my grades based on?
Your grade in my class will based on your demonstration of what you've learned in class. You will demonstrate this learning via labs, hands-on activities, projects, quizzes, tests, and other general classwork.
What letter grade do I have?
The following is the grading scale that will be used to determine your final letter grade in the class:
A = 89% - 100%
B = 79% - 88%
C = 69% - 78%
D = 59% - 68%
F = 58% and below
How do I check my grades?
StudentVue is the place to go to check your grades. You can access it via the button at the top of the page. If you use the app on your phone, you will need the following web addresses for the Tigard-Tualatin StudentVue and ParentVue pages:
- ParentVUE https://parent-tigardtualatin.cascadetech.org
- StudentVUE https://student-tigardtualatin.cascadetech.org
Grades are updated, on average, every 1 - 2 weeks. Assignments are not added to the gradebook until they are graded, so if you are absent and want to know what you missed check the class calendar. Work that is turned in on time takes priority over late work when it comes to grading, so if you turn work in late it's best to turn it in as close to the due date as possible. If you have questions about your grade, please feel free to ask me before, during, or after class, or send me an e-mail at [email protected].
